Ahead of this week’s rumoured Nintendo Direct, a YouTuber has offered an esoteric hint about what games will be shown.

Nothing’s been officially announced yet, but Nintendo fans are going into this week expecting a big Nintendo Direct, featuring multiple first party games, following the rather lacklustre partner and indie showcases over the summer.

Although Saturday, September 13 will mark the 40th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, the belief is that the Direct won’t focus solely on Mario and friends but include a variety of game announcements.

What exactly what will be shown is a mystery but a new rumour has got fans speculating, with their only hint being that the games have something to do with ‘triple sevens.’
