A National Weather Services team will survey the damage after a "radar-confirmed" tornado with a debris signature was detected in Holden, near Worcester, as severe storms moved across the state during the weekend.

Residents said the the radar-confirmed tornado only lasted about three minutes, but the damage it created is devastating.

"Twenty-four inch trees were just snapping and rolling over in front of me. It was wild . Only lasted like three minutes but it was utter destruction," resident Janna Goodnow said.
