SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Police responded to a stabbing in Springfield Sunday night.

According to Springfield Police, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at Franciscan Villa at around 7 p.m.

Officers say that one person went to the hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A suspect is not in custody, and law enforcement is not actively looking for one due to the victim not cooperating.

Police are still investigating, but say this is an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
