(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump said he's not happy about the latest strikes on Ukraine as crews still pick through the rubble of the single largest attack of the war.

"I'm not happy. I'm not happy about the whole situation, the one that I thought would have been, for me, the easiest because of Putin," Trump told reporters Sunday. "I thought that would have been, it's not. It's not turned out that way. But we're going to get it done."

More than 800 drones were fired in Kyiv early Sunday morning, damaging the Council of Ministers building, which is where the prime minister's office is located, and next door is the presidential palace.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the West for a tough response.
