Olivia Attwood has revealed that ITV bosses were "so pleased" with her work on This Morning that they're interested in her becoming "a more permanent fixture" in the future. The former Love Island star made her debut as a summer cover presenter on the daytime show in late July, and she has now revealed that ITV bosses were so happy with her co-hosting skills that they're interested in a more permanent role. "When I got announced there were some rumbles, some people were over the moon, others were sceptical but I knew I could do this, I can do the earpiece, I can be natural, I'm still myself, I was pleased and so was the team at ITV," she told the Daily Mail. "This Morning have expressed interest in me being more of a permanent fixture it's just a case of when that is. My schedule is insane and they have hosts in slot so it's when those slots present themselves. Hopefully, we will see more of me there." Olivia went on to praise Dermot O'Leary for putting her at ease and giving her tips during her debut appearance on the show. "Dermot was such a good person to host with, he held my hand through it, he helped me in the breaks with tips and tricks. I felt very at home, I felt like I had been doing it my whole life, which I think is a good sign," she shared. "There are a few of the presenters I would love to host alongside but it was such a good fit between me and Dermot, we really enjoyed working together." Some viewers compared Olivia to Holly Willoughby, who presented This Morning from 2009 to 2023, and the 34-year-old took that as a "huge compliment" because she sees Holly as "an extremely successful broadcaster". Since finding fame on Love Island in 2017, Olivia has built a successful career on TV by starring in a string of documentaries, hosting the show Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends and becoming a Loose Women panellist. The second series of Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends launches on Sunday.
