COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. — A 1-year-old boy abducted out of a Target parking lot on Sunday was later found in northern Arizona, officials said.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the child was taken from his mother by three suspects in a parking lot in the City of Industry, located east of Los Angeles.

The suspects allegedly held the mother at knife point as they kidnapped the boy. They were suspected of possibly heading toward Colorado. An Amber Alert was briefly issued for the child before Arizona state troopers located the child later that day.

At least one person was reportedly detained, according to CBS News.
