Russell Wilson was the Giants' signal-caller for Sunday's opener against the Washington Commanders . That was always the plan. Or at least as soon as Wilson inked a one-year, $10.5 million contract in March. And yet, exactly one game into Wilson's tenure as the 2025 starter, it's already quite apparent the Giants would be better served handing the keys to the man behind him.
