Yonathan Perlaza joined the century club on Sunday.

The 26-year-old right fielder homered and drove in two runs, pushing his season total to a career-high 101 and a Padres system-best in Triple-A El Paso’s 10-6 win at Salt Lake.

Both RBIs came on his 18th homer of the season. Perlaza also singled in lifting his batting line to .300/.386/.508 through 127 games with the Chihuahuas.

Third baseman Marcos Castañon (1.382 OPS) continued a strong first week in the Pacific Coast League with four RBIs on two hits, including a two-run double in a five-run ninth.

Right-hander Matt Waldron (6.69 ERA) struck out eight and allowed four runs on nine hits in 5⅓ innings in the start. He did not walk a batter.
