LANDOVER, Md. — In 2022, when Brian Daboll was a rookie head coach who seemingly could do no wrong, his Giants opened 2-0 and then 6-1.

Since then, pretty much nothing has gone right for Daboll early in the season.

In 2023, en route to 6-11, the Giants got smashed 40-0 by the Cowboys in their opener and began the season 2-8. In 2024, when Daboll and Co. finished 3-14, they lost 28-6 to the Vikings in Week 1 and began 2-13, with a team-record 10-game losing streak.
