It is certainly safe to say that the Miami Dolphins season got off to a disastrous start.

A 33-8 drumming at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts handed Miami its first Week 1 loss since the 2020 season. There were several factors that played part in the Dolphins struggles but none were bigger than three turnovers from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Tagovailoa had two interceptions and a lost fumble on Sunday, accounting for all three Miami turnovers. According to ESPN Research , it is the seventh time since 2020 that Tagovailoa has turned the ball over three times in a game, the second most in that span.

In the post-game press conference, Tagovailoa was asked if he felt that his turnovers "come in bunches." The Dolphins quarterback was not pleased with the question.
