West Ham United's Crysencio Summerville was wanted by Nottingham Forest this summer

Nottingham Forest had their eye on West Ham United’s Crysencio Summerville this summer, it has been claimed.

Strengthening out wide was a key focus for the Reds as they tweaked Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad before the transfer window closed. Recruiting for the flanks was already on the agenda at the start of the summer, then became even more of a priority following the departures of Anthony Elanga and Ramon Sosa.

Forest considered a number of potential targets as they sought to find the right additions. In the end, Dan Ndoye and Omari Hutchinson put pen to paper Trentside before Dilane Bakwa bolstered Nuno’s options further when he joined on deadline day.
