A dog was killed in an XL Bully attack in Plymouth. Emergency services were called to Stonehouse at around 9.40pm on Sunday, September 7 following reports of the attack.
It was reported to police that a dachshund had been killed by an XL Bully. Devon and Cornwall Police say the bully was euthanised by the vets following the incident.
Police officers are still investigating the incident.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 9.40pm on Sunday 7 September to a report of a dog on dog attack in the area of Cremyll Street and Stonehall Flats, Plymouth.
"It was reported that a Dachshund had been fatally injured by an XL bully dog.
"Following the incident, the XL bully was taken to the vets by its owner to be euthanised.
"Enquiries remain ongoing."
