HOUGHTON, MI - The Keweenaw Peninsula is known as an adventure spot - and for its fabulous scenery. What if you could cruise by these U.P. views, taking it all in from the upper deck of a dinner cruise?

A local boat tour company is taking its offering up a notch with a new, bigger boat designed to let people cruise in style. Keweenaw Boat Tours recently welcomed the Sweet Afton into its fleet. It’s now the only passenger boat with dinner cruise service in the Upper Peninsula.

It offers some lovely views of the Portage Canal, its iconic Lift Bridge, and lets people soak up lots of that local flavor. This fall, the dinner cruises are timed to the sunsets, which is a pretty cool perk.
