BRUSHTON, New York (WWNY) - A Brushton man faces charges stemming from a reported domestic dispute on Thursday.
New York State Police say before 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Troopers responded to a call on Washington Street in the village of Brushton.
An investigation revealed Randy Bassett, 58, was involved in a verbal argument with the victim, and they were separated. Police say that later in the evening, Bassett and the victim had another altercation. This time, Bassett reportedly threw a bucket at the victim, causing slight bruising, and broke a window by slamming a table against it.
Bassett was charged with criminal mischief and harassment. He was arrested and taken to the State Police in Malone for processing.
