A big fire destroyed the Spokane Indians baseball team’s main concession stand Friday, along with thousands of dollars of snacks, food, beverages, and other equipment and electronics.
When firefighters arrived at 2:45 a.m., officials say flames and smoke were billowing from the structure.
The fire broke out in a building that’s part of Avista Stadium, home of the “High-A,” minor-league affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

The ballpark is owned by Spokane County and is part of the Spokane County Fairgrounds and Expo Center.
