Woman charged with attempted murder by counter terrorism police
A woman has been charged with attempted murder by counter terrorism police after a man was attacked in Bristol.
Alina Burns, 18, of Lynton Road, was arrested on Saturday, August 2 after a 27-year-old man was attacked in Bedminster .
The man suffered minor injuries as a result.
Burns appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, August 4 on charges of racially aggravated actual bodily harm and three counts of possession of a bladed article.
Further enquiries were carried out and Counter Terrorism Policing South West, with Avon and Somerset Police, are leading the investigation.
Burns, who is white British, today (Monday, September 8) appeared at Bristol Crown Court additionally charged with attempted murder.
