New Jersey’s congressional delegation has voted along party lines on resolutions about the much-discussed Jeffrey Epstein files.

The three Republicans from the Garden State — Reps. Tom Kean Jr., Chris Smith and Jeff Van Drew — voted on Sept. 4 to support a congressional probe into the federal case against Jeffrey Epstein. The Democrats in the delegation voted against it.

Though the resolution passed 212-208, it really doesn’t change anything. It allows for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to investigate the case against Epstein, which is already happening.

It comes at a time when the public is clamoring for the files related to the case to be publicly released.
