APPLICATIONS have been reopened for the State Government’s newly extended $4.25 million Digital Jobs program.
The next tranche of the initiative will provide 1000 free places in industry-endorsed training courses over the next two years for workers to obtain the latest skills in construction and advanced manufacturing sectors.
Courses will cover computer-aided manufacturing, digital marketing, modern methods of construction, artificial intelligence, data analytics and more.
To date, the program has supported over 5500 Victorians to move into digital careers and helped upskill more than 500 workers in the manufacturing sector since its initial launch in 2021.
