PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - A 22-year-old man killed two family members then himself in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood on Saturday, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

On Saturday, just after 5 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call made from inside a home on the 7000 block of Southeast 64th Avenue on Saturday, reporting a suicide.

When officers arrived to the home, they found three people dead from apparent gunshot wounds .

During the investigation, police say detectives determined a 22-year-old man killed his 46-year-old mother and 10-year-old sister before taking his own life.

Police say their names will be released after the medical examiner has completed the autopsies.
