BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Baroda-Lake Township Police Department reports officers responded alongside other emergency personnel responded to the area of Jericho and Livingston Roads around 1:44 p.m. Saturday after receiving a call regarding a crash involving a bicycle and car.

Police say it was the driver, a 53-year-old Bridgman man, involved in the crash who called 911.

Upon arrival, police found the bicyclist, later identified as a 73-year-old Stevensville man, unresponsive at the scene.

Life-saving measures were performed on scene but was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The Berrien County Sheriff's Office is performing the crash reconstruction in this incident.

Authorities say the incident remains under investigation and will be turned over to the Berrien County Pros
