King County sheriff’s deputies are still searching for a person who stabbed someone aboard a King County Metro bus on Sunday evening in downtown Seattle.
Someone called 911 shortly after 6 p.m. to report the stabbing near Third Avenue and Pike Street. The assailant fled before deputies arrived, according to sheriff’s office spokesperson Brandyn Hull.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center. About a dozen people were aboard the bus when the person was stabbed, Hull said.
The sheriff’s office is investigating and could not provide additional information on Monday morning, including what led up to the stabbing or details about the victim or suspect.
