NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - North Charleston Police say a Summerville man wanted by the Charleston Police Department is in custody after a two-hour standoff.
Tiquan De’Vonte Harris, 27, faces a charge of strong-arm robbery, according to jail records. Additional charges are expected, Charleston Police Sgt. Chris Stinson said.
U.S. Marshals attempted to serve a warrant at approximately 10:46 a.m. in the Westcott Chase community, but the suspect, later identified as Harris, would not come out of the home, North Charleston Police spokesman Harve Jacobs said.
The North Charleston SWAT Team responded. Harris came out peacefully at approximately 12:50 p.m., Jacobs said.
