A Dunkin’ franchisee is shutting down a Haverhill production facility and laying off 74 workers, according to a recent state filing.
NGP Management, based in North Reading, stated in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice filed on Sept. 2 that it will eliminate the jobs in early November.
In a letter to the state, the company’s director of human resources said the “entire facility” at 15 Parkridge Road, in Haverhill, is closing permanently.
The letter said the layoffs affect 45 production workers, 21 drivers, logistic supervisors, sanitation workers, managers, and a baker. A union does not represent the employees.
The filing said the layoffs will begin on Nov. 3 and continue for two weeks.
