PITTSBURGH —
Giant Eagle has confirmed that it plans to take over two former Rite Aid locations in Allegheny County.
The closed Rite Aid stores in Sewickley and Pittsburgh's Mount Washington neighborhood will soon become new Giant Eagle Pharmacy locations, spokeswoman Jannah Drexler told Pittsburgh's Action News 4. Advertisement
A target opening date was not announced.

It's the latest move for Giant Eagle Pharmacy, which has been acquiring prescriptions from dozens of Rite Aid locations across Pennsylvania and Ohio and recently announced a partnership with Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company .
