A Nottinghamshire Police officer has been suspended from the force after being charged with drink driving. PC Jakub Lewandowski, 23, of Wood Street, Ilkeston , was off duty when he was pulled over by officers on Wollaton Road on August 31 at 4.12am.
He was breathalysed and is accused of blowing 90 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Lewandowski was arrested and charged with drink driving. He remains on police bail and has been suspended from his role at Nottinghamshire Police.
The 23-year-old is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Friday, September 19.
