ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - September is prostate cancer awareness month. A cancer that’s more common than you might realize.
WDBJ7’s Logan Sherrill spoke with survivors who want other men to know, they’re not alone in this fight.
“He said, ‘Tom you have cancer. We have work to do.’ That’s all I heard,” said prostate cancer survivor Tom Edwards.
“When people hear that, ‘You’ve got cancer.’ Whatever it is, everything stops,” added prostate cancer survivor Rick Forney.
