The Las Cruces Police Department arrested one man in connection with a fatal shooting on Sept. 4 near a park on Salopek Boulevard .

The incident is still under investigation, according to law enforcement, and at least one other person may face charges investigators said.

Apolinar Rosales, 18, was arrested on Sept. 6 and charged with one felony count of voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence, and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, according to LCPD.
