(NEXSTAR) – President Trump announced new measures to protect religious liberty and address crime during a speech at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. on Monday.
The President revealed that the Department of Education will soon issue new guidance to protect the right to prayer in public schools.
"To have a great nation you have to have religion and I believe that so strongly," President Trump stated during his speech.
Additionally, Trump announced a new federal initiative, "Operation Midway Blitz," targeting criminal in the country illegally in Chicago. Trump claimed sanctuary policies are a draw for criminals.
