SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - It’s finally time to turn the page from that Week 1 loss to Miami as Notre Dame gears up for a top 20 showdown against Texas A&M in its home opener this Saturday.
Coming off that loss in South Florida, Notre Dame had a whole bye week to address several areas that needed work.
During his weekly news conference on Monday afternoon, Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman touched on the need to give the ball more to running backs Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, who each got less carries than quarterback CJ Carr in the first game.
Freeman also talked about the defense and their need to put pressure on the quarterback and force turnovers. Against the Hurricanes, the Irish only had one sack and didn’t force any turnovers.
But the biggest topic was just the ove
