Authorities are investigating a spate of gunshots reported in downtown Kalispell and the city's south end Sunday night.
Investigators are following up on several leads in the hopes of identifying a person of interest, said Kalispell Police Chief Jordan Venezio in a statement Monday morning. The situation appeared to have subsided, he said.
Authorities have received no reports of injuries or property damage related to the reported gunfire.
East Idaho Street, near the intersection with Seventh Avenue East North, saw a heavy police presence overnight, with Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff's Office vehicles lining the street.
