BUFFALO, N.Y. — A community is mourning the loss of Division One Marquette University lacrosse player Noah Snyder, who was described as a role model, energetic, and impactful. He was from Western New York and touched many lives.

"Really special kid. He had it all going for him. He was going to represent his nation so honorably."

Snyder was a graduate of St. Joe’s, where he played lacrosse under varsity coach Pete Hudecki.

Hudecki explained, "As a sixth grader, I saw him playing, I'm like, I want to work with him as a seventh grader."

Hudecki coached Snyder for a couple of years and says his passion for the game was undeniable.

"He loved the game, and the game loved him."

From the moment he stepped on the field, Snyder’s talent stood out.
