SHELBYVILLE, Ky. —

Three arrests have been made after a man was shot to death inside his Shelbyville home last month.

Police found 58-year-old Tim Ethington shot inside his home in the Spring Oaks Estates neighborhood on Aug. 20.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office confirmed on Monday three arrests were made in connection to the shooting.

Jeremiah James, 23, and Madison Greenwell, 21, were arrested in Tennessee and are awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

The third person arrested was Rodney Isgrigg Jr., 21. He was arrested in Louisville, according to police.

All three are charged with murder.

Police say they believe Greenwell may have ties to Ethington and the situation was a robbery gone wrong.
