OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — It's now easier for people biking and walking to get across the river by the First Americans Museum and the OKANA resort and Indoor Waterpark. It's all thanks to the new MAPS 4 pedestrian bridge and a new stop for the Oklahoma River Cruises.

"Together, these projects connect neighborhoods, cultural landmarks, and recreational spaces in new and exciting ways," said Camal Pennington, Ward 7 Councilman.

The projects are something supporters believe will help the growth in this district of Oklahoma City.

"They're going to increase accessibility and transit options, and they're going to create more opportunities for recreation, tourism, and cultural connection in downtown Oklahoma City," said Dan Boren, the Chickasaw Nation Secretary of Commerce.
