Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko drew another blank on Monday evening, as his Slovenia side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Switzerland in a 2026 World Cup qualification fixture.

The 22-year-old failed to add to the 16 goals that he has scored for his national side in either of their September fixtures, and the forward has now failed to register in his last five appearances for his country.

Sesko is also without a goal in his opening four games for Man United, although he has only started one of those fixtures - the second-round EFL Cup fixture with Grimsby Town on August 27.
