BRENHAM, Texas – The city of Brenham says they will be using harassment techniques to ward off nuisance vultures they say have caused property damage to several buildings in the area.

They city says they have received numerous calls over the last few months about the vultures in the S. Chappell Hill/Pecan/Kerr St areas. It has been noticed that around 200 or more vultures are hanging around the area throughout the day.

“To protect private property and prevent diseases, we have partnered with the Texas Wildlife Services Program to perform harassment techniques to break up the flock of vultures and move them out of this area.
