Firefighters with the Connersville Fire Department responded on Aug. 29 to a residence located in the 900 block of Walnut Street for an active residential fire. CFD said fire crews arrived on the scene and were met with flames emanating from the front and back of the home.
It took the firefighters around three hours to bring the fire under control. Although no injuries were reported at the time, CFD confirmed the fire is now being investigated as an arson.
