A beloved Boston-area bakery chain known for its seasonal doughnuts and beverages is branching out to the suburbs.

Union Square Donuts is expected to open at MarketStreet in Lynnfield this fall, according to a press release. The opening will mark the local chain’s seventh location and will become the first outside the immediate Boston area.

Union Square Donuts’ other locations are in Boston Public Market, Time Out Market, Brookline, Harvard Square, Assembly Row and Union Square.

An exact opening date for the Lynnfield location has yet to be announced.
