DICKINSON — United Way of Dickinson will go before the Dickinson City Commission on Tuesday, Sept. 16, to seek approval for a special use permit to transform the former Evergreen senior living facility into a multi-use supportive housing facility.
Before going to the city commission, United Way had to present its application to the Dickinson Planning and Zoning Commission.
Under Dickinson municipal code section 62-55, special use permit applications must first be presented to the planning and zoning commission, which then votes to recommend either approval or rejection to the city commission.
