The Dodgers activated infielder Max Muncy from the injured list and optioned catcher Chuckie Robinson before Monday night's series opener against the Rockies in Los Angeles.

Muncy, 34, returns from his second IL stint of the season after missing 23 games with a right oblique strain. He made three rehab appearances with Oklahoma City, going 2-for-7 with two walks. He has played in 89 games this season, hitting .258 with an .800 OPS, 17 homers and 64 RBIs.

Muncy clubbed his 200th career homer on May 31 against the Yankees and is seventh in franchise history with 207 career homers. He has been with the Dodgers eight seasons, slashing .233/.359/.487 with 584 RBIs.
