DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- Major multi-million dollar developments will soon be underway in southern Houston County.
The Houston County Industrial Board received $3.2 million from the growing Alabama tax credit program, which was put in place by the local legislative delegation in efforts to recruit new industry projects to the Houston County Distribution Park.
"Our delegation is always proud to support pro-business legislation, and that's what we are doing," said state Senator Donnie Chesteen.
The $3 million will be used to make water and sewer infrastructure improvements in the underused industrial park in southern Houston County near the state line.
"It allows us to be shovel-ready. Sewage, water, and power is what they are looking for," State Rep. Paul Lee told WDHN.
Right now, while l
