SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Another Democrat has officially jumped into the race for South Dakota’s lone U.S. House seat.
Nikki Gronli served as South Dakota’s Director for Rural Development with the Department of Agriculture under the Biden administration.
Gronli joins Billy Mawheney as the two Democratic candidates for this position.
You might recognize Gronli from the various town halls she put together across the state, going all the way back to March, in which people packed venues in Vermillion, Aberdeen, Rapid City, and Sioux Falls.
Gronli and another state democrat believe the party is picking up momentum going into 2026.
