OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A new group of poll workers is now a part of the Douglas County Poll Worker Hall of Fame.
One of them volunteered at his first election in 1960, and he hasn’t missed an election since. For him, ‘We the People’ is more than words in a document, it’s action for our democracy.

“What can I say, it’s just one of those things that happens in life where you bite the bullet and yeah it’s pretty good,” laughed Reed.
