WILLIAMSPORT — The prosecution wants to introduce evidence of a fight and robbery as a possible motive for the killing of a Middletown native in Williamsport in 2016.
Lycoming County First Assistant District Attorney Martin L. Wade on Monday asked county Judge Nancy L. Butts to allow him at trial to introduce evidence of a Dec. 22, 2016, fight between William Michael Blackwell and Dawud M. Rogers.
Rogers, 44, is charged with fatally shooting Blackwell, 31, a Dauphin County native, on Dec. 30, 2016, on a street in the Newberry section of Williamsport.
