Ryan Routh Represents Himself in Trial, Judge Dismisses His Questions on Gaza and Turtles
At the federal courthouse in Fort Pierce, Florida, the man accused of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump, Ryan Routh, apologized to potential jurors as his trial began Monday. Routh, who is representing himself, told the first group of 60 jurors, “I’m sorry for bringing you all in here.”
According to reports, he appeared in a gray sports coat and red tie, and while he was partially shackled earlier, he was unrestrained in the courtroom.
