Reece Walsh has sent an injury scare through the Broncos after limping off the training paddock ahead of Sunday’s NRL finals clash with Canberra.
The star fullback clutched at his calf and sat out for 20 minutes.
Initially appearing to be OK to resume, he then slowly walked off the field and went inside to be assessed.
Concern around Walsh comes a day after the Raiders were struck by a similar headache with veteran prop Josh Papalii.
The beloved forward rolled his ankle at training on Friday and has been wearing a moon boot in a bid to be fit.
Meanwhile, Broncos winger Gemahat Shibasaki is set for a recall after being dropped last week for breaching team standards.
The Origin representative had a boozy night out that impacted his ability to train the following day.
