DALLAS — A 44-year-old man was arrested after firing a gun near an elementary school Monday, officials said.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were flagged down in the 200 block of North Adams Avenue, near Bishop Arts STEAM Academy. Police said a man was seen shooting a gun before barricading himself in a home. No injuries were reported.
DPD later announced that officers arrested David Barron, 44, for discharging a firearm, a misdemeanor. Jail records show his bond has not yet been set.
