SAN JOSE – A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a solo-motorcycle crash Monday night in San Jose, according to police.

The crash happened around 6:50 p.m. in the area of South Seventh Street and Tully Road, the San Jose Police Department said in a social media post.

The rider was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Eastbound Tully Road is closed from Monterey Road to South Seventh Street for an investigation, police said. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
