Vice President J.D. Vance has criticized the Democrats in response to the release of a "birthday book" given to Jeffrey Epstein , which includes a note allegedly signed by President Donald Trump .

U.S. lawmakers have released a copy of the book given to the late convicted pedophile financier in 2003, along with documents that include Epstein's will and his personal address book.

Vance posted on X that the Democrats "don't even care" about the victims of Epstein, whose historic ties with Trump have been the subject of scrutiny.

"The only thing they care about is concocting another fake scandal like Russiagate to smear President Trump with lies," Vance wrote on X. "No one is falling for this BS."
