A Floral Park real estate attorney accused of embezzling more than $1.7 million from the escrow accounts of 30 clients pleaded guilty to 13 counts of second-degree grand larceny and one count of first-degree scheme to defraud on Monday in Mineola.

Nassau County prosecutors said Terrance Dougherty of Oyster Bay spent the money on adult entertainment, luxury hotels and restaurants. Dougherty, 39, is expected to receive a sentence of 3½ to 10½ years in prison when he appears before Nassau County Judge Christopher Hoefenkrieg on Nov. 6.
