SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Shreveport police are looking for a man who allegedly injured the mother of his child.

Police say Latravion Hinton is wanted for allegedly striking his girlfriend in the face while she was at his home to pick up their daughter. It was also noted that Hinton choked and threatened to kill the victim and pointed an AK-47 at her during the exchange. According to police, the victim had visible injuries during an on-scene interview.

This is not the first time the suspect has faced trouble regarding the mother of his child. Records indicate that Hinton was arrested last December for domestic abuse battery involving her.
